Deacons' Seminar (April)

The College is the Training Department of the Association of Baptist Churches in Ireland. It therefore has a responsibility to not only train potential pastors and missionaries, but to also equip the members of Association churches in a variety of ways. It is with that in mind we have organised two Deacons' Seminars on 7th April from 7:30-9:00pm.

Although running on the same evening these two seminars will take place in two locations:

Magherafelt Baptist Church (with Principal Edwin Ewart)

Swords Baptist Church (with Dr David Luke)

The seminar will consist of Bible teaching on the office of deacon, followed by a group discussion and Q&A.

Please email Lynette (registrar@thebaptistcentre.org) with the names, number, church of the deacons/elders attending and whether you will be going to the seminar in Magherafelt or Swords Baptist.

It is also intended that there will be two more Deacons' Seminars in September. On Thursday 29th September the seminar will run in Cork Baptist Church and Portadown Baptist Church.
